“What if my dog has an accident during their session?”
We get it… Sh!t happens!
BUT HERE’S WHAT TO EXPECT IF YOUR PET HAS AN ACCIDENT DURING THEIR PHOTO SESSION
Every portrait session has built-in time for:
Sniffing around and exploring the studio before I ever pick up the camera
Play time because it’s hard work sitting still and following directions for so long
Potty breaks!
Before coming into the studio, make sure you pup has a chance to go potty outside first. There’s a long strip of grass that runs along Stinson Boulevard next to the building and is perfect for a pup to relieve themselves.
Depending on your session, we’ll either break once or twice for a quick potty break.
VIP Session: Potty break after session, before Image Presentation
Best in Show: Potty breaks between backdrop changes and before Image Presentation
Making the extra time for when duty… or doody calls will help keep your pet interested in the session and attentive without getting bored. My focus is making sure your pet enjoys the session with as little stress as possible and potty breaks definitely help with that.
If your pooch does have an accident, we’ll simply pause, clean it up, and get back to portraits.
If your pooch has an accident on something that isn’t as simple to clean up (on a chair, etc), there may be a cleaning o replacement fee assessed. This would be discussed during the session right.
FEWER ACCIDENTS WITH PLANNING
If your pet has an accident in the studio, they’re definitely not the first— or the last! Please don’t let a potty accident keep you from booking a portrait experience for you and your pet.
